Assistant Vice President, Retail Sales and Service (Hamilton)

As a member of the Senior Management Team, the Assistant Vice President, Retail Sales and Service provides overall leadership, input to strategy, business direction, and operation planning in the areas of retail sales, service, branch delivery, call centre, and wealth management. This position is a key leadership role, acting as a strategic advisor and business partner to all areas of the organization. A leadership role in the area of Branch Operations, with accountability for all staff within these areas through Regional Directors, Wealth Management, and Call Centre management, and their direct reports. Works closely with all members of the senior management team in the development and application of organizationally aligned business strategies.

If you have 10 - 15 years relevant retail banking experience with progressive and demonstrated senior management experience/roles, a demonstrated capability to lead and motivate various teams to deliver successful results largely through impact and influence, extensive sales and sales management experience, expert knowledge in a number of areas including: sales and sales management, change management, strategic business development, project management, financial management, credit risk management, wealth management, investment services delivery, and budgeting and financial projections, as well as knowledge of credit union legislation, regulations, policies, and procedures, and post secondary education in business and achievement of a professional designation (CFP, PFP), please submit your resume to recruitment@firstontariocu.com or fax it to 905-574-6202 with "AVP, Retail Sales & Service" in the subject line. Manager, Accounting - Corporate Office (Hamilton)

Prepare and analyze the consolidated monthly financial statements. Supervise and provide performance management to the non-management staff in the accounting department. Monitor and manage the accounts payable and general ledger system. Provide assistance to Branch Managers in areas concerning accounting related functions. Identify the need for new or revised policies, procedures, or systems in the accounting department. Act as a resource for the accounting department in resolving operational issues and providing guidance to staff on accounting-related matters. Assist in the preparation of the monthly reporting package and the annual financial plan. Document and maintain procedures regarding month end financial statement preparation and quarterly DICO reporting in accordance with department standards. Preparation and analysis of statistical information regarding expenditures.

Manager, Employee Relations

Supports the corporate strategy and operating objectives of the various business units by providing a wide range of HR services and deliverables, including policy administration, collective agreement administration, and general employee/labour relations. MUST have considerable experience providing Human Resource services within a unionized environment; extensive experience managing employee and labour relations issues, preferably within a multi site, multi unit environment; excellent conflict resolution and problem solving skills; demonstrated ability to meet and deal effectively with all levels of contacts; Post Secondary Education directly related to Human Resources, and CHRP designation.

Branch Manager - Niagara Region

Creating and developing a team committed to branch objectives and goals, willing to work together to achieve results. You will implement disciplined sales leadership processes and plans, while providing high quality coaching to all staff.  You possess leadership, interpersonal, supervisory and persuasion skills that will assist you with managing a business plan in a fast paced, member-centric environment.
